Support and advise the customer service and administration team by:
- Advising the correct chemical descriptions are used on waste collection documentation
- Applying the correct EPA waste classification codes to the waste items collected
- Ensuring lables are printed according to the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals
- Assisting customers with preparation of chemical waste manifests for quotation and collection
- Interpret customer manifests to ensure the site is licenced to accept manifested materials
- Provide pricing to Customer Service and Sales team for manifested products for disposal
- Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) or related field
- Intermediate IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain composed and effective in high pressure situations
- Skills in time management, work organisation, and attention to detail
- Ability to learn technical details around waste regulations
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
