MacLean International Group (Australia) Pty Ltd is a long-established leading supplier and distributor and operate four industrial categories, Electrical, Industrial & Safety, Valves and Pumps.
The product range is world class and high specification, widely used by all major Industrial, OEM’s, Mining, Oil, Gas and Energy companies of Australia.
MacLean, as part of the DNOW Group of Companies, is a recognized global leading supply chain solutions company providing value-added sales, services, including supply chain management, project management, and e-commerce solutions.
This position is electrical focused and will be supported by our existing sales teams. All necessary product and process related training will be provided.
The position will include the following functions:
- Comprehensive Company training on all product and processes to be provided
- Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager
- Assist in all Internal Sales functions and processes
- Assist the sales team to prepare sales quotations to Company standards and conduct all follow up activities.
- Sales Order data processing of customer purchase orders and when required, to create vendor purchase orders
- Sales coordination to major blue-chip electrical & industrial customers
- Assistance with incoming sales calls and enquiries
- Attention to detail and work within a team environment
This is a position for a candidate who is willing to learn and has good communication skills with reasonable computer understanding and the ability for data processing within the Company operating system.
A good level of attention to detail is required to ensure all customer requirements are met during the quotation and sales processing stages. Having previous customer sales experience within industrial sales markets would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite.
The supply of our electrical and industrial products and cables at the project phase and onward to the long-term supply agreement contracts to the major Oil, Gas & Mining operators allows MacLean to offer long term and continuity of employment.
Remuneration includes a competitive base salary and a Company bonus plan. The working environment is based in a lively and modern Wangara based office and warehousing complex consisting of a knowledgeable and team focused workforce.
