Trainee Building Manager

Sydney Building Management & Projects provides facilities management services to the greater Sydney area. A position is available within our Building Management team as Trainee Building Manager providing a great opportunity for someone looking to further their career. 

You will possess excellent customer service skills and have some experience or exposure to the management of residential apartment buildings. 

You will be a highly capable person who thinks rationally, logically, and can work in a team and solve problems as they present themselves. 

What You Will Be Doing

You will be working across a portfolio within 10km of the Sydney CBD, working from the site offices, carrying out inspections, and organising maintenance and capital works projects. 

You will be working closely with the Senior Building Manager assisting in the supervision of building contractors, ensuring compliance and site procedures are followed. You will carry out patrols of the building to ensure it is secure, is clean and tidy, and maintained to the highest standard, supervising contractors where required.

At all times you will be providing superior customer service assistance to stakeholders including building owners and residents.

Must Have's

• 1-2 years customer service experience.
• Experience in a related field, Construction, Property, Hospitality, Strata, Maintenance.
• Right to work in Australia full-time;
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills both written and verbally;
• Intermediate level computer skills and the ability to learn various systems; and
• A current Australian drivers license and vehicle are required, including willingness to travel throughout the day.  

More About The Role

• This is a full-time position generally 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday;
• You will cover sites within 10km of the Sydney CBD;
• Annual salary of $70k - $80k + Super dependent on experience;
• Training and ongoing development will be provided; and
• Opportunity to for further development and career growth.
