Join our Leading International Oil & Gas client12 month contract with potential to extendBased in West Perth with easy access to public transportAbout the Role:On behalf of our leading Oil & Gas client we are seeking professional and dedicated Accountants for Projectbasedwork.Reporting to the AFC Manager, you will manage monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities for assigned entities in accordance with Groups policies and procedures. The position will initially be a 12-month duration with options to extend. The role will be based in West Perth working a Monday to Friday roster.Role Purpose:Prepare and posts relevant journals and ensure transactions are properly supportedEnsure balance sheet accounts are properly reconciled and justifiedEnsure accounts payables matters are in order such as ensuring proper coding of invoicesand allocations of costsManage accounts receivable matters such as invoicing, coordination intercompany workorders, communicating accruals to inter companiesEnsure all intercompany transactions are reconciled and all issues are resolved on a timely basis.Assist preparation of tax estimate, tax computation withholding tax mattersParticipate in yearend audit activitiesLiaise with internal/external auditors, tax agents and other relevant authoritiesPerform the treasury activities and relevant journal postings; andPerform any other ad-hoc duties from time to time.Professional QualificationsShould be an accounting graduate and CPA/CA Qualified or working to get the certification with at least 1-3 years experienceKnowledge of financial accounting procedures and economic principles related tointerpretation of Financial Statements;Knowledge of supplier management and passive cycle accounting; andCapability to use Corporate accounting systems for the accounting, bookkeeping and reporting process.Job Reference Number: 7019J202472055How to Apply: Click on the Apply button or for more information please contact Sara Mason on (08) 9201 6243 quoting the above reference number.About WorkPac:The WorkPac Group is Australia's largest privately owned workforce services business.
