Accounts Assistant
12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Lawson Elliott is excited to be working with a nationwide and reputable organisation who is looking to welcome in a confident Accounts Assistant to join their Brisbane team for a 12 Month Fixed-Term contract. Fantastic incentives are included such as WFH and flexibility start and finish times.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will be, but are definitely not limited to:
- High-volume reconciliation of bank accounts
- Assist with handling of accounts payable/receivable
- EOM reporting
- Investigation of bank initiated queries
- Support and assist in implementing new process’s and workflows
- Maintaining financial records accurately
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Resolving accounts to the general ledger
- Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments
- Managing the Accounts team inbox and respond to queries
- Ad-hoc duties as required
To be considered for this role:
- 3+ years proven work experience as a Accounts Assistant or similar role
- Strong and confident communication skills
- Exceptional verbal, written and customer service skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel and Word)
- Strong interpersonal, analytical and numeracy skills
