Accounts Payable Officer

Kao is a leading global organisation in the Hair/Beauty & Home Care industries. With over 130 years' experience in creating innovative solutions for customers, this business will continue to expand. Kao has a unique opportunity to join our finance team.

This is a hybrid role where you will work from our Malvern East office and from home.

The role will have responsibility for the Accounts Payable function for Australia and New Zealand, company credit card expense management, Accounts Payable reconciliations and some additional assistance to the finance team.

Working in a high-performance team, the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a combination of technical skillset, attention to detail and commercial outlook. You will also be motivated, and driven to succeed in a challenging environment.

You will be able to work autonomously and manage your own KPI's to ensure consistent results.

This role covers the full Accounts Payable function and therefore includes all entry of invoices into SAP via OpenText.

We are ideally seeking an Accounts Payable professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience. If you have less experience but believe you have a track record of success that will allow you to be an applicant, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Role activities include
* Full control of Accounts Payable for Australia/New Zealand
* Management and support (including providing training) on the Accounts Payable SAP OpenText system
* Upload and data entry and checking of data and approvals of invoices
* Management of company credit cards and other company cards
* Reconciliation of account payable accounts, statements and ATB review
* Assist with annual audits
* Support the broader Kao Finance team as directed
Skills & Experience
* Previous Accounts Payable experience
* Experience with SAP preferred.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to deliver on deadlines and work autonomously
* Well-developed communication, interpersonal & negotiation skills
* Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders internally & externally.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* MSOffice intermediate to advance
* Excellent administration skills.
* Experience with high volume numeric and alpha data entry
* High attention to detail
