Join a supportive and friendly team working together to make a real difference not only for the people we care for, but also each otherSouthern Cross Care QLD has an exciting opportunity for a friendly and dedicated Administration Officer to provide effective administrative support to our Community team based in Raceview.
You will be coordinating the office and providing a wide range of administrative support to maintain financial, client and rostering systems, provide high levels of customer service, problem solve and show initiative by actively seeking out continuous improvements to administration and support processes.

- Certificate III in Administration or equivalent qualification
- Experience working in an administrative role within Aged Care and/or Community Services
- The ability to schedule a high volume of staff and using a rostering system to do so
- Excellent administrative and reception experience
- High level of computer literacy across the full Microsoft suite
- Very strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
- Time, task and priority management
Southern Cross Care Queensland (SCCQ) is a Catholic not-for-profit organisation established by the Knights of the Southern Cross, more than 40 years ago. They saw a need to provide compassionate care and inclusive service to some of the most vulnerable, the ageing population, in the community.
Since then, SCCQ has grown to employ over 1000 staff caring for and supporting more than 2000 people across 13 residential aged care homes, 5 retirement villages, 28 social houses, the National Disability and Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and home care services in metropolitan and rural Queensland.
