Purpose
An exciting administration role has become available in our Claims Division!
The Administration Officer reports to the Director and provides business, administrative and operational support to the Director, divisional managers and team members.
The position will work to deliver high-quality office management support, including diary management, reporting and assistance with a particular focus on problem-solving, business processes and project work.
Key accountabilities of this role will include:
- Undertake a range of administration tasks for the division and support the coordination for the Director's logistics through email, diary, meeting and travel administration and management.
- Provide a range of administrative support functions to support the delivery of core day-to-day and project activities for Director, Claims and managers from the Claims Division.
- Assist the Director with Board papers, management reports and Committee meetings Provide support to the Executive Director's office and Return to Work Victoria Business Unit Senior Leadership team
- Coordinate and provide support to Director, Claims in relation to diary management and travel bookings.

About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team, and can work effectively in a high pressure environment, with changing and competing demands. You will also have;
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, including the ability to meet set timeframes and prioritise work
- Demonstrated experience providing administrative support in an environment of internal and external stakeholder pressures and ad-hoc tasks
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including good verbal and written communication, along with the ability to develop positive relationships
- Experience in developing and maintaining office support systems and procedures and the ability to suggest changes to improve effectiveness.
- Demonstrated initiative, tact and judgement when working as part of a team or with limited guidance
- Experience in preparation of agendas, minutes, reports and presentations/ organising functions or team events/ diary management
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, emphasising PowerPoint, Word and Outlook (specifically calendar management and email) and various video conferencing systems.
