About the role

       The role requires the ability to work in a team environment whilst undertaking a range of administrative functions including the maintenance and management of various records and registers (manual and computerised) within Swan Hill Police Station.
  • The successful applicant will be required to report to station management and have the ability to work with key stakeholders such as local government, and other interagencies as required.
  • Other key projects will be maintaining Viva Engage and other forms of Police awareness such as local eyewatch posts.

As the successful applicant your duties will include:

  • A range of Administration functions as required, including data entry and relevant reports.
  • Prepare and maintain a wide range of correspondence including Briefs, personnel files.
  • Successful applicant will maintain sensitive material and must have the ability to ensure confidentiality.

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Ability to be part of a small and inclusive team.
  • A strong commitment to achieving results.
  • Must obtain a National Security Clearance.
  • Ability to work within current OH&S requirements.

Requirements and relevant information

  • One full time, ongoing VPS2 position available
  • VPS2: $56,834 - $72,985 p.a. plus superannuation
  • The usual place of work will be Swan Hill Police Complex 507 Campbell St, Swan Hill. However, you may be expected to work out of any location within Western Region Division 6, as required.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
