About the role
Reporting to the Commercial Director, who is part of the Senior Executive Team, this role oversees product specialists, Business Development Managers, and Sales leads. The responsibilities include achieving financial targets and ensuring a positive client experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, a comprehensive understanding of the clinical diagnostics market, drive business commercial initiatives, and be hands-on with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the clinical diagnostics market.
Location: Melbourne/Sydney
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically manage and establish key relationships with clients across the region.
- Implement and develop relationships internally with key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Provide market and product strategies to support sales leads and work closely with key account management teams to drive success
- Drive commercial strategies and initiatives to grow market share and revenue across the Clinical Microbiology division.
- Motivate and lead the team, providing monthly, quality sales reports.
- Relevant and demonstrated industry-specific experience in Clinical Microbiology
- Strong leadership in developing commercial sales teams
- Tertiary qualifications in Medical Science - Clinical Microbiology
- Outstanding communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Customer-oriented with strong negotiation skills
- Ability to travel interstate minimum of 25% frequency
