As a Area Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical sales solutions across a broad range of businesses.
• Liaising with engineers, maintenance representatives, consultants, end-users, contractors, resellers, etc.
• Developing and expanding customer leads through various channels, including cold calling, client visits, phone calls, and emails.
• Expediting the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction.
• Supplying management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Achieving agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
• Coordinating sales efforts with team members and other departments.
• Analysing territory/market potential, tracking sales, and status reports.
• Increasing total sales across all designated territories and meeting ongoing growth targets.
• Providing input and managing sales budgets.
• Proposing sales and marketing ideas and organising internal and external marketing activities.
• Being knowledgeable about products and services.
• Maintaining the CRM database and recording all sales and marketing activities.
• Qualifying and setting up new customers.
• Liaising with distributors and their customers.
• Implementing new product marketing activities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales, customer relationship management, or a related field.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
