Area Sales Representative
As a Area Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical sales solutions across a broad range of businesses.
- Liaising with engineers, maintenance representatives, consultants, end-users, contractors, resellers, etc.
- Developing and expanding customer leads through various channels, including cold calling, client visits, phone calls, and emails.
- Expediting the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction.
- Supplying management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Achieving agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Coordinating sales efforts with team members and other departments.
- Analysing territory/market potential, tracking sales, and status reports.
- Increasing total sales across all designated territories and meeting ongoing growth targets.
- Providing input and managing sales budgets.
- Proposing sales and marketing ideas and organising internal and external marketing activities.
- Being knowledgeable about products and services.
- Maintaining the CRM database and recording all sales and marketing activities.
- Qualifying and setting up new customers.
- Liaising with distributors and their customers.
- Implementing new product marketing activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, customer relationship management, or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
