Our client, a large Federal Government Organisation, are seeking the experience of multiple Business Analyst(s) for 12 + 12 + 12 month contract based in ACT, Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
Duties of the Business Analyst
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand end-to-end processes to support effective solutions and determine and resolve issues.
- Develop business process maps for manual and system processes.
- Understand legislation and policy that the system and processes are designed to support.
- Develop and manage user stories.
- User Interface Design.
- Work collaboratively with developers and testers to describe and implement business requirements.
Data analysis and reporting. - Development of system documentation and supporting materials.
- Assist business with User Acceptance Testing.
Skills and Experience Required
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst for ICT digital projects, working collaboratively in agile environments with multi-disciplinary teams and business partners.
- Experience in using azure DevOps or similar tools as part of Agile project delivery to create and manage features, user stories, product backlog items and bugs.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead workshops and engagements with business and IT stakeholders to elicit, capture and document business processes, requirements, rules and acceptance criteria and translate into solution requirements and user stories for MVP and future enhancements.
- Comfortable working with people across all levels of an organisation, including senior executives.
