About the role
The Business Development & Marketing Manager has a national scope and overall responsibility for attracting and retaining referral (and business) flows, by engaging with customers (new & existing) – both directly and indirectly, ensuring that customer needs inform service delivery.
Reporting to the CEO, the Business Development & Marketing Manager will be a key part of the broader leadership team. You will be hands-on and equally adept at handling the day-to-day activities as you are with developing longer-term strategic objectives.
What you’ll do:
Plan, direct, and execute the sales and Marketing business strategy to achieve revenue and profit targets.
Develop and nurture long term positive relationships with new and existing customers, partners and vendors demonstrating a strong focus on customer service.
Provide ongoing coaching, support, information and materials for key account managers and staff to support customer relations and referrer engagement across the business.
Plan and execute external events including medical/practitioner educational sessions, medical/practitioner luncheons, seminars and industry conferences.
Develop and coordinate Business Development and Marketing activities across the business.

About you
Degree qualified in relevant discipline (Business, Marketing or Health preferred).
At least 5 years’ experience within chosen discipline.
Prior experience in a similar position within the health sector.
Strong understanding of Business Development and Marketing principals.
Demonstrable experience building and motivating a team.
Creative thinker who’s ready to shake things up.
Excellent communicator whose superpower is building relationships (internal and external).
