The Position
Reporting to the Sales Manager, your duties will include:
- Establish, pursue, and secure business relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Regularly communicate with customers to nurture strategic relationships and facilitate client engagement
- Maintain high levels of interaction and on-road activity to achieve specifications and sales
- Perform lead generation and identify sales opportunities within defined markets
- Ensure a complete, up-to-date client database to facilitate sales and marketing activities
- Negotiate, persuade, and achieve mutually beneficial sales outcomes
- Support the Sales Manager with any other projects or tasks as needed
The Candidate
The successful applicant should have experience in sales within the manufacturing or distribution industry, preferably within a related role, showroom, or retail environment, as well as the following:
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and willingness to go out on the road and visit customers
- Strong communicator at all levels of the company and with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Knowledge of and ability to interpret and manage customer information and data
- Passionate about sales and able to collaborate with teams to achieve shared success
- Success working independently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Proficiency with CRM software
