The Role:
An incredible opportunity for an ambitious BDM to step into an established business and work with the Head of Property Management to grow a portfolio from scratch and manage this portfolio until growth milestones are hit and a full-time property manager is hired so you can focus 100% on portfolio growth.
- Convert sales leads into new managements
- Network with the team and local community to grow the portfolio
- Carry out rental appraisals and sign up new managements
- Prepare managing agency agreements
- Advertise and lease vacant properties
- Manage ingoing, outgoing and routine inspections
- Arrears management
- Oversight of repairs and maintenance
- Handling rent reviews and lease renewals
- Preparation for and attendance at NCAT
- Navigating bond and insurance claims
- Approval of applications in collaboration with landlords
- Attend sales meetings and Property Management team training
- Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence
- A valid drivers licence and reliable car
- Experience working in new business to grow a portfolio
- Highly customer service focused
- Experience using PropertyMe desirable
- Flexibility to work Saturdays as required
- Confident to chase and convert leads into new business
