As a Business Development Manager, you will report to Business Manager, Protective Marine Coatings, based in Smeaton Grange, NSW. You will grow PPG sales and market share by increasing awareness of PPG with large main customers including Engineering and Specification clients. To build PPG PMC's share of major projects by working with local territory sales managers in NSW and interstate.
Responsibilities- Increase share of projects with important accounts by Identifying growth opportunities for PMC product
- Identify and target important projects with decision-makers based in NSW.
- Achieve Sales targets, maintain expense budgets, sales forecasting, and control of credit with main accounts.
- Formulate strategies to Increase market share by winning projects and supporting important customers in using PPG.
- Negotiate a changeover and new business deals with potential new customers.
- Identify opportunities and implement plans to grow in underrepresented segments and geographies.
- Ability and track record in winning new business.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in roles like Account Management, Business Development, Territory Management.
- Previous experience with competitor products is an advantage.
