This isn’t for everyone.What are we looking for?Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for facilitating new customer acquisition, thus enabling the sustainable growth of eStore Logistics. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting ARR and Revenue, in line with targets set upon hiring. The Business Development Manager will work alongside the Sales Team to introduce new business and improve the customer experience. You will be responsible for facilitating new customer acquisitions to enable sustainable growth and ensure that our fulfillment centres reach full capacity. To be successful, you will need to capture and scope new customer requirements accurately, mitigate commercial and operational risk, yield mutual gain through unique customer solutions, exceed conversion and profitability targets and optimise the fulfilment experience of Australian retailers that will result in their growth because of our partnership. What will you do (but not limited to)?The role may perform all or any combination of generic functions including, but not limited to, the following: Own the full sales cycle, from researching market data, idefinifying prospects to closure and transitioning new accounts to the account management team Establish relationships as a trusted and strategic advisor to help ensure the continued value of our products and services Drive consistent activity to ensure a strong and growing pipeline of potential deals Collaborate with peers and mentors to benefit from and continue the development and sharing of best practices to ensure mutually successful outcomes for the customer and estore Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive analysis within the logistics sector Responsible for an annual quota in contract value achieved through net new sales with prospects to exceed short and long term growth, conversion and profitability targets Identify and mitigate risk through your firm understanding of contract law Accurately capture and scope requirements of new customers to build and develop solutions that encompass best practice Mitigate commercial and operational risk Optimise the fulfilment experience of Australian retailers through a sustainable partnership What skills/Qualifications will you have? Experience: Working within a customer acquisition environment, solution sales process, generation of reports, stakeholder engagement and relationship building, HubSpot CRM operation, prior experience managing a customer portfolio and maintaining sourcing data.
