The Position
A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the Calile Hotel.
This role is accountable for driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and customer acquisition.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Demonstrate a robust grasp of the sales pipeline and hotel segmentations, strategically navigate these segments and identify opportunities to showcase The Calile's unique offerings: MICE, Corporation, Entertainment, and Leisure.
- Thrive on building and nurturing key relationships with event planners, professional conference organisers (PCOs), and leisure and corporate businesses to ensure seamless account management and customer acquisition.
- Derive fulfilment from actively seeking new business opportunities through proactive outreach, cold calling, and networking initiatives.
- Exhibit proactive strategic thinking, prioritising commercial insight and innovation.
- Possess exceptional organisational skills, capable of self-management while also fostering collaboration as needed.
- Excel in cultivating relationships with external stakeholders, leveraging key industry events and fostering strong ties with PCOs.
- Familiarity with Opera Cloud is advantageous, though not a prerequisite for consideration.
