Are you an ambitious and results-driven individual with a background in technical/specification sales, particularly within the mining EPCM market? Concentis is working with a global leader in innovative piping solutions and we are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and represent our client's brand in the market.
If you have a sense of drive for sales, the technical aptitude, commitment and enthusiasm with a high level of self-motivation and have the ability to take a sincere interest in the customer's business to build strong relationships then this could be the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Specification Development: Develop and achieve the maximum number of specifications and conversions within the assigned territory (East Queensland)
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with contractors, project managers, designers, specifiers, and buyers to maintain favorable specification of the client's range and services.
- Customer Assistance: Advise and assist target customers on product selection, service, profit opportunities, and quality. Investigate and correct problem situations.
- Planning and Execution: Translate budget goals into actionable plans. Maximize opportunities through effective planning, scheduling, and managing territory coverage.
- Training and Support: Assist in training specifier, distributor, and contractor staff through promotional meetings.
- Communication: Keep management informed on market conditions, competitive situations, product needs, and consult on matters of policy, pricing, etc.
- CRM Management: Update internal CRM software daily.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit weekly reports on the territory, as well as annual revenue and expenditure budgets along with monthly sales forecasts.
- Experience: Proven background in technical/specification sales within the mining EPCM market.
- Motivation: We're looking for a self-motivated individual with a sales-oriented, hands-on approach, able to react swiftly to market trends and conditions.
- Communication Skills: Ability to impart a corporate message and technical expertise to the target market. Confident in delivering presentations to both small and large groups.
- Travel: Regional, National and International travel as required, including conferences, meetings, and training sessions in the US.
