Trisco Foods has 2 core divisions: Healthcare and Nutrition andTraditional Foods, and we are currently undergoing an expansion phase and are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team to continue the growth.
In the Health and Nutrition division we continually innovate to develop products that make a real difference to the lives of patients, particularly those suffering from Dysphagia. Customers in this side of the business include State Health Services, Public & Private Hospitals and Aged Care Organisations.
About the Role- Reporting into our Head of Sales; you will strive to meet sales growth targets with new and existing customers
- Maintain and build strong relationships with existing customers and explore growth opportunities
- Demonstrate the company’s value proposition to clients
- Deliver product training education sessions and supply a high level of customer service
- Work from the comfort of your home when you aren’t visiting clients
- Travel throughout your assigned territory to service your clients
- Maintain a high level of customer focus and a solution-driven attitude
- Meet and work with distributors – building and implementing growth plans
- Full product and sales training will be provided

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Completed, or about to complete higher education in a relevant field e.g. Business, Marketing, Commerce, International Business, Speech Pathology, Dietetics or Nursing
- Experience in a similar role (Aged Care/ Healthcare is advantageous)
- Experience working toward KPIs and sales targets
- Ability to develop long term strategic relationships
- Ability to negotiate and close sales
- The ability to communicate effectively
- A reliable car and drivers licence
- Ability to adapt and work autonomously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Experience in Microsoft - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams
