Why this Business Development Manager, Strata role is for you
We’re inviting an experienced BDM to join our team of expert salespeople to leverage off existing and create new relationships with body corporate committees and site managers to win their business and partner with sites as their preferred supplier of electricity, covering north of the Brisbane river.
In this role you will act as the face of LPE and become a trusted market leading expert for site contacts through take-over negotiation and contract proposal stages, building long term relationships with body corporate companies, committees and site stakeholders.
To be successful, you will be able to keep a long-term focus. This role demands a blending of visionary thought and drive with pragmatism and perseverance.
You will have access to close leadership support and our Senior Sales Administrator who has implemented some key sales enablement strategies to encourage LPE’s Sales function to be as efficient and productive as possible. LPE also work with an expert Sales Performance Coach who will be a critical stakeholder in setting you up for success.
Your key functions will include:
- Identify body corporate management companies within your region to build relationships through account management techniques;
- Build relationships with Site Managers and Body Corporate Managers to secure committee presentations;
- Cold call strata sites to identify sales opportunities for Embedded Networks, Hot Water and Common Areas, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions to drive sales activity are completed;
- Execute high level presentations to committees and establishing clear parameters for the terms and conditions of sale;
- Maintaining a high level of market awareness across the full suite of LPE solutions, including embedded electricity supply, solar, hot water systems and EV charging;
- Monitoring expiration dates of competitor contracts and ensuring timely contact for takeover opportunities;
- Mastery of the contract set and purpose, with a knack for controlling conversations and negotiations when delivering to customers;
- Manage site contract renewal phase upon term expiry;
- Record all sale activity and lead prospect information into LPE’s CRM throughout the lead cycle;
- Take a proactive networking approach, making the most of industry association events.
