New Business Development Manager
Location: Queensland - Brisbane based
Seriously Healthy are recruiting for a New Business Development Manager to drive sales for its SER!OUS Smoothies brand in the Brisbane / Gold Coast regions, with the occasional travel to regional parts of Queensland.
Seriously Healthy Ltd was established in 2016 identifying a gap in the market for healthy and convenient smoothie pouches. SER!OUS Smoothies was our first product launch - an all-natural frozen pre-portioned smoothie pouch made with real fruit pieces, nuts and superfoods. Today, our product range has expanded to include SER!OUS Fruit, SER!OUS Organic, and SER!OUS Fruit Bites (with some exciting NPD on the way).
Our mission is to produce high quality, healthy convenience products for both retail and foodservice channels, and continue to make being seriously healthy, seriously easy!
About the role:
We are looking for a highly driven and energetic New Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth in the region. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about Business Development and has a proven track record in sales. The role will predominantly focus on generating new leads and converting them into sales. It will also involves nurturing existing relationships with distributors as well as developing new ones.
Key Responsibilities:

- Networking with distributors
- Daily call planning
Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications:
- Self-motivated and tenacious by nature
- A passion and drive for new business and sales
- Ability to leverage existing trade relationships to drive wide amounts of opportunities with integrity, reliability and maturity
- High level of business acumen and a strong analytical skillset
- Tertiary qualifications or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the foodservice field
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage and influence a wide variety of stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
