Join us as Café Manager where you will oversee the operation of a small café at our Port Central precinct that is visited by our employees, colleagues within the Port Community, as well as members of the public. Working away from the CBD has many benefits – we're keen to make sure that access to wholesome nutritious food and exceptional coffee is one of them! We’re looking for someone who likes the idea of being part of a larger organisation, while taking on the responsibility of our café to run it as a small successful business.
Our Café operating hours are currently 7:30am – 2:00pm Monday to Friday, making this the perfect opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional wanting to work more lifestyle friendly hours.
Passionate, skilled, and great with people; here’s who we’re looking for:
- You’re an energetic, passionate individual who loves to provide great food and coffee to your customers.
- You’re an experienced retail or hospitality manager or have run a small successful business.
- You’re commercially minded and pride yourself on building successful long-term relationships with suppliers.
- You love to work in a small team with the flexibility to work autonomously.
- You love to support your team with ongoing training and development ensuring it’s a safe workspace.
- You’ve got a continuous improvement mindset and excited to bring your fresh ideas to our small café.
