Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Collections Officer for a 12 -month contract (full-time hours) with an immediate start.
About the role:
- Collections calls to clients and administrative support to the wider team
- Work with customers regarding financial assistance and hardship
- Ensure all work queues, inboxes and administration requirements are processed in a timely manner
- Supporting Collections team to ensure timely payment of outstanding debts
What we're looking for:
- Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities
- Proven ability to remain calm in challenging situations; effectively managing conflict and influencing or negotiating when required
- Ability to remain sensitive and courteous to customers
- An individual with initiative, ready to take on team responsibilities
- Previous experience in a collections role within financial services industry
