About the role
A reputable steel fabrication company is currently seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our tight-knit team at the Bayswater branch where you will be working closely with sales and operations to deliver an outstanding customer experience. This position would be a suitable opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing customer/sales experience.
Hours for this role are Monday to Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM- additional hours sometimes required.
Your responsibilities:
- Customer enquiries and sales, over the phone and at the front counter
- Trouble shooting customer sales queries and questions
- Upselling and providing quotes to customers
- Sales data entry, general invoicing, administration, purchasing and inventory control.
- Dispatch and production planning with guidance.
We are looking for someone who is Customer Service focused, has a high attention to detail and who thrives working in a fast-paced friendly environment.
You will also have:
- Experience in a similar phone-based Customer Service role.
- The ability to build relationships with a diverse range of clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn and develop your skillset.
- Team player and can multi-task well
