THE ROLE
The YMCA of South Australia is seeking a newly formed role of a Data Assurance Officer, to join our team. This is a 6 month Fixed-term opportunity (with possible extensions). Flexibility options available which includes for flexible hours, remote work, and the ability to adjust schedules as needed.
The position of a Data Assurance Officer is crucial in ensuring that our HR data is accurate and reliable. Working under guidance and direction from the HRMS Project Team, this role will be responsible for auditing employee records, communicating with employees and managers to obtain missing information, and saving relevant documents in designated systems, such as TANDA and SharePoint. Some of the key responsibilities would be as follows:
- Review employee records as directed to identify any missing, incomplete, or inaccurate information.
- Document any discrepancies or missing data in the provided Airtable, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Gather missing information by reviewing employee files or communicating with employees and managers (as appropriate).
- Save documents in designated systems, such as SharePoint and Tanda.
- Notify the HRMS Project Director if concerns arise regarding the accuracy or authenticity of any documentation received.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all employee records and sensitive information.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the effective coordination and completion of tasks. Seek clarification or guidance when needed.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:
- Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably in HR or data management is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing and documenting information.
