About the role
This Development Manager role will sit across renewable energy development assets in Tasmania, Queensland, New South Wales and NZ
The team is focused on developing new energy solutions to meet corporate decarbonisation targets through renewables generation via development partnerships.
We're looking industry professionals with an understanding of both the renewable energy industry and commercial agreements to manage the full lifecycle of development partnerships.
This role will also involve coordinating key government, TNSP, project development, and supply chain stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and lead DD and execution of new renewable project development partnerships;
- Maintain project management principles, prioritising risk assessment & risk mitigation, supply chain initiatives, grid processes, execution schedules and quality control;
- Monitor, control and report on project milestones and construction delivery schedules;
- Lead relationships with external stakeholders including consultants, OEMs, governments and authorities, and landowners.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the business;
- Ensure full HSE compliance.
About you
- Qualifications in a relevant technical discipline, such as civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering and/or other relevant disciplines;
- Strong commercial acumen with well-established industry networks;
- NEM project development experience in grid-scale renewables and storage projects;
- Experience with grid connections process and ability to navigate interactions with TNSPs;
- Experience engaging with developers, regulators, landowners, communities, and other key stakeholders;
- Ability to work in a small and dynamic team;
- Full Australian work rights.
