Ea To Business Manager

We have the pleasure in assisting this highly regarded and elite Melbourne School source an Executive Assistant to support the Business Manager who oversees the business operations of the school. This is a permanent, full-time role (or possibly 4 days per week for the right candidate) based in the Inner South East. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to work onsite full-time.  
 
This is a pivotal role in ensuring the Business Manager’s office is running efficiently and to an exceptional standard by providing a high level of confidential, professional and effective support. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, tech savvy, with willingness to learn and a proactive team player. Your professionalism, discretion and relationship management will see you succeed in this role.
 
Responsibilities include:

• Day to day executive administration and support to Business Manager
• Coordinate meetings including Board and Committee meetings
• Prepare agendas, take minutes and prepare action items for School Council, Committee and other meetings the Business Manager chairs
• Assistance with arranging meetings, functions and events
• Manage School Council planning days
• Reception cover for sick leave or annual leave when required
• Maintain and update school policies
• Liaise with students, staff, parents and the community on behalf of Business Manager

You will have:

• Proven experience in a high-level EA role
• Extensive Board and Committee experience
• Exceptional organisational skills and work within strict deadlines
• Tech savvy
• Excellent stakeholder management
• Flexibility to work out of hours for monthly Board meetings
• Current Working With Children Check (this can be obtained during recruitment process)
