The Role:
As our Event Coordinator, you'll be an integral part of our small, fast-paced team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, coordinating, and successfully delivering the online portion of our hybrid conferences.
- Communicating effectively with professionals from various backgrounds, including academics, government, and corporate sectors.
- Managing a high volume of administrative tasks such as emails, phone calls, and supporting Conference Managers.
- Providing excellent customer service for delegates, speakers, sponsors, and all stakeholders.
- Updating website third party listings and overseeing the setup and ongoing administration of event software.
- Uploading resources in the post-conference resource centre and updating conference websites.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Event experience (minimum two years, preferably as a PCO support role): Understanding the details of successful conferences.
- Customer Service: A passion for exceeding customer expectations.
- Fast Learner and Multi-tasking Master: Managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Organised & highly detail-oriented: Ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard and to fruition.
- Tech-savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Events Air expertise will be highly regarded!
- Positive & proactive: Thriving on challenges and approaching them with enthusiasm.
- Team player & independent: Flourishing in both collaborative and independent work settings.
- Accountability & growth: Driven by accountability and seeking continuous growth in the event world.
This part-time position offers:
