Calling an experienced Functions and Events Coordinator for our multi-award-winning restaurants; Botswana Butchery and White + Wong’s; both situated in iconic locations in Queenstown’s CBD.


This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Good Group Hospitality team that operates across New Zealand! Due to the nature of the hours expected to work, this role is ideal for someone who is a seasoned hospitality professional but keen for their next challenge whilst still providing awesome customer service!
  
Typically, the role hours would be day-time hours Monday-Friday, however, due to the nature of functions and events, you would need to be flexible to work evenings and weekends at times.

Overlooking both restaurants, you will be one of key faces for our Good Group brand. Liaising with existing customers as well as striving to grab new business, we are looking for a highly motivated individual with the drive to help create memorable experiences for our growing functions and events clientele.

Together, we pride ourselves on providing premium fun dining experiences to the thousands of guests that visit each year. Both venues offer fantastic event spaces that can be hired out for a range of functions. We do our best to ensure that our staff stand out from the rest, are enthusiastic and have the ability and passion to consistently exceed our customer expectations.

Who we are looking for:

  • A positive, energetic individual with a passion for maintaining relationships, and the always willing to go above and beyond
  • Previous experience in premium hospitality venues working either FOH, Management or Administration
  • Proven experience co-ordinating events and functions
  • Savvy communicator which consists of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly competent administrator, used to multi-tasking and prioritising tasks to get things done efficiently
  • Has a passion for hospitality and working with people, both staff and clients
  • Has a drive to grow and be proud of increased sales and results
  • Understands how to sell, and has a track record for being accountable for achieving sales targets
  • Comfortable with putting yourself out there to obtain new business
  • Great team player, understands the relationship between front and back of house and communicates well with all
  • Highly professional and confident speaker on the phone always projecting a positive attitude
  • Has personal high standards from presentation to how you treat others
