FULLTIME OFFICE ROLE
Fulltime office-based opportunity for an enthusiastic people person in the event and sports industry 38hrs/week + up to 4.5hrs overtime in peak seasons.

Base Zero is a Mobile Adventure Company that has been entertaining communities throughout QLD and NSW for 17 years. We provide exciting mobile rock climbing activities at events with a focus on developing confidence in kids.

Successful applicants for this role will have a solution-focused energetic personality, with a passion for helping people. A proactive, detail-oriented individual with a knack for communication across various platforms to ensure smooth and seamless events.
A high level of attention to detail is a necessary attribute, as the role involves checking logistics, quoting, reserving, invoicing & scheduling events.
WORK HOURS AND INCOME
Working 38 – 42.5 hrs/week, 8 am – 5 pm, Monday - Friday in an airconditioned office, with a vibrant team, allows you to enjoy a wonderful work vs lifestyle balance.
Gross Income is $58 – $64k P/A.
4 weeks paid holiday per year, Superannuation 11.5%.
Public holidays are paid days off.
Working-from-home options are available for suitable candidates once they are proficient in the role.
TRAINING:
You will be trained in the role by our friendly team at the support office in Capalaba. Base Zero has been built upon a strong foundation of digital systems and operations procedures. These assist in making the role efficient and pleasant, so you can focus on providing a wonderful customer experience.
OFFICE ROLE SUMMARY:
As the coordinator in the EARS team - Event Acquisition & Retention Specialists team, your primary role is to provide a wonderful customer experience, by communicating effectively with clients, contractors and the office team.
The autonomous work environment in the Support office requires your ability to be independently motivated with a high level of focus on tasks. The role integrates with automated systems and templates that allow for efficient workflow.
We deliver multiple signature events, everything from school holiday vacation care, scouts, church and youth activities to large corporate conventions and Expos.
REQUIRED CRITERIA:
• Customer-focused people person
• High level of focus and attention to detail on key tasks.
• Good understanding of Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, Xero, and OneDrive.
• Intermediate keyboard, computer and technology skills.
• Must be familiar with Social Media Platforms.
• Familiar with using a Website Database to store client details.
• Open Drivers License, with a good driving history record.
• Showing initiative, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, are key attributes.
Most of the skills required, to perform this role, can be taught.
Having a background in outdoor education, vacation care, and event planning will be highly regarded.
