About the Position
You will be responsible for providing high quality executive, administrative and project support for the Executive Director, Performing Arts. This position may also support an additional Executive where required. You’ll be the first point of contact for the Executive Director, and you may also provide support to the other Executive Assistants to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations in the team.
Full Time fixed term to October 2024. Band 3.2 salary $82,837.00 p.a. plus 11% superannuation
Applicants seeking a part-time 0.8 FTE role will also be considered.
To be successful you will require:
- A positive, client-focused approach. You take pride in providing a high standard of support
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience in an EA position
- Proven experience managing complex schedules for senior executives, with the ability to exercise judgement around prioritisation
- An understanding of project management including planning and reporting against progress
- An ability to build relationships with a wide range of people both inside and outside the organisation
- High level verbal and written communication skills including experience developing a range of reports and correspondence
- Ability to exercise initiative, discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Advanced knowledge and use of the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in a range of support tasks including account reconciliations, purchasing and travel coordination.

The Executive Team
The Executive Team comprises of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Deputy Chief Executive Officer, and four Executive Directors (‘ED’s) - Performing Arts, Development, First Nations, and Audiences and Destination.
The Executive, Performing Arts is responsible for overseeing several business units in the organisation including Programming, Presenter Services, Production, Collections, Customer Engagement and Customer Growth.
