Connect is seeking an experienced Human Resource Advisor for a busy construction labour hire company.The company, which currently holds contracts on a number of Tier 1 and Tier 2 projects is expanding. We are currently looking for a HR manager to play an important role in the delivery of the company’s people and culture strategy. As a key member of the leadership team and reporting to the General Manager; this is an excellent opportunity to work with likeminded leaders in a supportive environment.
Your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Supporting leaders through implementing procedures and policies to ensure they understand their HR and IR obligations
- Assist with training on HR and IR topics where required
- Managing employee relations including; grievances and demands
- Deliver reports and suggest improvements to increase company culture
- Delivering performance management and implementing correct protocols
- Reviewing remuneration and reporting back to MD, and GM’s.
- Ensuring company moral and culture is at an extremely high standard
- Identifying opportunities for the business to improve its processes and developing and implementing action plans on how to improve them
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce
- At least 3 years in a HR Advisory role or similar
- Comprehensive understanding of local, state and national employment laws
- Current WA Licence
- Ability to understand and interpret state and federal awards back to management
