The Opportunity - About the Role
We are currently looking for a Finance Administration Officer to join our Queensland Masterplanned communities team. You will support the Development Team and contribute to a strong performing and collaborative team environment.
This is a permanent full-time role, offering flexibility to balance working between our office in South Brisbane and home.
Key Responsibilities
The role will be responsible for managing the correct allocation and payment of invoices relating to the Qld portfolio.
- Payments of rates and taxes for QLD Residential business.
- Create purchase orders, timely invoice payments
- Assist in maintaining appropriate systems, procedures and controls.
- Use good communication skills to liaise clearly with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure all payments are up to date and accurate.
- Additional administrative tasks from time to time.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have solid administrative and collaborative skills. You are a proactive team player with a willingness to learn and have a “can do attitude”. You have strong attention to detail and are diligent in following processes and procedures. You will also have the following skills, attributes and knowledge:
- Payment experience
- Systematic, methodical and analytical approach
- Finance/ accounting knowledge (preferred)
- SAP experience (preferred)/ quick to learn new systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Property industry experience would be highly beneficial
