Position Overview:
As a Finance Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective financial management of our organisation. Reporting to the CEO and General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- The ability to manage your workload autonomously.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
- Prepare financial reports for management and board review and funding bodies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Provide support for audits and other financial reviews.
- Complete weekly processing of the ECEC programs’ childcare subsidy and gap payments for educators and families
Qualifications:
- Finance and Accounting qualification.
- Proven experience in financial administration or accounting role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and XERO accounting software.
- Experience or knowledge of CCS approved software – Harmony Web and OWNA.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working the ECEC sector, or a non-profit or community-based organization is preferred but not essential.
