Form of workWe are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and contribute to our strategic growth. This position plays an important role in managing and administering the organisation’s finances, budgets and payroll. The Finance Manager position is also pivotal in managing the financial operations, budgeting, and payroll administration of the company. This role encompasses the continuous enhancement and refinement of financial systems, procedures, and organisational policies.
The Finance Manager also leads a dedicated team and upholds dynamic engagement with key external parties within the mining sector.
What the role entails:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support business objectives.
- Direct supervision of, and delegation of tasks to the Finance and Administration team
- Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Drive the financial analysis of projects, enhancing profitability and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and systems.
- Provide insightful financial advice to support executive decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting standards and all other legal and statutory obligations.
What you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Experience in a financial management role, ideally within the mining or consulting sectors.
- Leadership skills with experience managing a cross functional team.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven ability to successfully develop working relationships across all levels
