Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is an independent charity that provides support to seriously ill or injured children, high-risk expectant mothers’ and their families. RMHC South East Queensland is one of the many Ronald McDonald House “Chapters” across the federated structure within Australia and Globally, providing accommodation and other support programs for families. Our services operate 24/7 across all 365 days of the year.
Each day at work we get to see our purpose and mission in action. Your office is located at the RMHC SEQ family homes in Herston and occasionally South Brisbane. Your work is varied and covers most aspects of corporate finance such as:
- Payroll
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- General Ledger management
- End of month procedures
- Management reporting
- BAS
- Superannuation
- Asset Management
The Finance Officer position is an integral part of the RMHC SEQ Finance department in delivering accurate and timely financial information, reports, managing and reviewing financial systems and processes to improve efficiencies and service quality.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years experience post qualification experience
- Knowledge and experience in a finance environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial systems and processes.
- Computer literacy, intermediate to advanced Microsoft programs knowledge.
