FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT required to join the AUSPAN team working in our Canning Vale office. This unique opportunity is open for a motivated individual to implement innovative strategies to support our business activities.

Summary:
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for undertaking various accounting and reporting activities that play a vital role in meeting the regulatory and decision-making requirements on the business. The Financial Accountant role is crucial in supporting operations to deliver accurate and timely financial information and analysis.
The Main Responsibilities Would Include:
- Develop and maintain financial records according to industry best practices, policies and regulations.
- Prepare financial reports, statements and analysis to present to senior management, stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Participate in financial planning and budgeting processes, providing key financial insights and analysis to support decision-making.
- Monitor cash flows and track financial performance, providing regular reports and analysis to senior management.
- Participate in the development of financial accounting policies and procedures.
- Support cross-functional teams and participate in financial forecasting, risk management and controls.
About You – Skills and Experience
Our ideal candidate is someone who can bring the following to the role:
- Comprehensive understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures
- Comprehensive understanding of month end processes, reconciliations and reporting requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of Australian Taxation system
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of payroll systems and processes
- Proven experience in the use of accounting software and ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficient in the use of business intelligence software (PowerBI)
- Procore experience advantageous
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with other
- Hands-on approach with a can-do attitude
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics and/or construction advantageous
- Proactive and autonomous
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- CA or CPA preferred (can be working towards)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role.

The Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to pass a functional pre-employ medical including drug and alcohol screen.
- Hold a current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence.
- Provide a National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months.
- Be health, safety and environmentally conscious
- Display a collaborative teamwork style with well-honed conflict resolution skills
- The ability to make practical decisions under pressure.
