The Client
My client is a well-established family office who have a successful investment portfolio with assets both in Australia and overseas. Located in the inner south, the offices are easily accessible, and in terms of team culture the finance team is like family - everyone genuinely cares for and supports each other.
The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, your day-to-day will include:
- Financial Accounting - month-end & year-end accounting, tax returns & tax planning, liaising with external accountants
- Management Accounting & Reporting - monthly cash flow preparation, management accounting & financial analysis, preparation and presentation of quarterly Investment Committee reports.
- Bookkeeping & Accounting Support - Manage AP/AR, prcess payments, bank reconciliations, BAS, banking, reconciliations, statutory compliance, general bookkeeping, etc.
About You
You are a CA qualified accountant (or in the process of completing CA), who is currently working in, or has previously worked in a Private Clients setting. You are a self-starter who doesn't shy away from complex work and you have an appetite to learn and grow into a more senior role.
The salary on offer is $90k to $100k + super.
