The origin story of this brand is nothing short of inspiring. Founded by an Australian couple back in 2014, they quickly identified a niche in the market for creating ethical, naturally derived and cruelty-free products that cater to all skin types.

Not only have they been producing and developing successful beauty products for over 10 years, but through their unique design and functionality, diverse product range and unparalleled branding, they are now achieving incredible success both domestically and globally, across an array of channels, most notably Pharmacy, Grocery and Ecommerce.

Role Overview - Head of Global Sales (Melbourne)

As the Head of Global Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence in both domestic and international markets. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a functioning sales team, and creating long-term, strategic partnerships across various retail channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, plans and objectives to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop robust relationships with key retail partners across various retail channels (primarily across Pharmacy & Grocery)
  • Strengthen key retail partnerships both domestically and internationally.
  • Business Development: Proactively spearhead the business development and acquisition of key target prospects.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and lead the existing sales team, providing mentorship and boosting internal capabilities.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct current market research to identify customer/ industry trends, and general market insights.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay abreast of the company’s current categories and NPD, ensuring the Sales team is well-versed in current and emerging product knowledge.
  • Sales Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and budgets, reporting to senior management.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with other members of the Senior Leadership Team to drive cohesive strategies and support overall business goals and objectives.

What you'll need

  • Robust career history in FMCG/Consumer Goods at a Senior Sales level (National Business Manager or above)
  • Proven career history of working with retailers/buyers across domestic channels (Pharmacy & Grocery)
  • Experience and exposure with key retailers across international markets (US, UK, EU)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – Intrinsically motivated, high level of drive and a passion for scaling a thriving business
  • Ability to engage, educate and influence buyers to create long-standing partnerships 
  • Commercially astute – ability to appraise viable sales opportunities on behalf of the business
  • Ability to strongly collaborate, and work across dynamic and fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities with various stakeholders
  • Passionate about the Personal Care industry, with an ability to connect to the consumer
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business or related field will be highly regarded
