Coastal Dental Care is seeking an experienced Hr Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Southport. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with another HR Coordinator and collaborate with our Finance and Operations departments to support our recruitment strategy and enhance the onboarding experience for Coastal Dental Care.
About the Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the recruitment process, maintaining accurate records, managing onboarding and offboarding activities, and fostering employee engagement through various initiatives. Here's a snapshot of what you'll be doing:
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment: Lead the recruitment process for all employees and commissioned providers, including obtaining approvals, posting job ads, shortlisting candidates, and extending official offers.
- Regularly update relevant stakeholders on recruitment status and progress, including PCs and Co-Owners.
- Work closely with the Finance and Operations teams, keeping them informed about recruitment activities.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Administer and manage onboarding and offboarding activities in consultation with relevant departments.
- Record Keeping: Safely record all employee & contractor personal details, including resumes, reference checks, and police checks, in the HRIS.
- HRIS & Recruitment Platform Management: Manage all recruitment platform profiles such as Seek, and ensure records are maintained in our HRIS Employment Hero.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with CDC’s HR policies and procedures.
- Training and Development: Coordinate with training providers to organise traineeship sign on, and drawdown of wage subsidies.
- Assist with training staff on navigating the HRIS and provide ongoing support.
- Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives such as Rewards and Recognition and Health and Wellbeing programs to foster employee engagement.
- Evaluate statistics and performance across the Rewards platform and drive increased engagement.
- Employee Referral Program: Manage the employee referral program to encourage employee engagement and retention.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in recruitment and HR coordination.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Employment Hero desired.
- Familiarity with recruitment platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and under limited supervision.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
