As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team.
About the Role:
Oversee all aspects of Human Resources operations including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and organisational policies.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to promote a positive work culture and employee engagement.
Coordinate and conduct training sessions on workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures and best practices.
Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to minimise workplace hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
Provide support and guidance to managers and staff on HR and WHS-related matters.
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of employee information.
Participate in enterprise bargaining negotiations and assist in the development and implementation of enterprise agreements.
About You:
- Qualification in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare or Aged Care sector.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment laws, regulations, and WHS standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and high level of integrity in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of Australian work rights (Birth Certificate, Passport etc)
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations in line with current requirements
- Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
