Our client, renowned as Melbourne’s most prestigious high-end tapware manufacturer, are currently looking to expand their growing R&D department with a self-driven and energetic Industrial Designer to join the team on a full-time position based in Melbourne, northern suburbs.

The Role:
In this role, you will be assisting our designers and engineers in developing new product ranges and managing 3D and 2D assets of new and existing product ranges for our clients. This role provides a learning experience like no other and an ability to get really hands-on with all aspects of Australian design and manufacturing.

Design Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Design or related field.
- Proficient in sketching and visual communication.
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop preferred.
- Strong understanding of SolidWorks (3DS Max desirable).
- Technical knowledge of materials and design constraints.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to create 3D and 2D assets.
- Participate in design projects, contributing to conceptualization, research, and trend analysis.
- Support prototyping efforts when applicable.
- Generate 2D Orthographic and Isometric drawings.
- Assist designers in preparing visuals for presentations.
- Support marketing initiatives by providing website assets.
