ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Designer to join our ever-growing Design team on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be working closely with a team of Designers as well as working closely with our Product Packaging team.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Playing a pivotal role in the creative process of developing innovative and unique products that meet the vision of b.box.
- Working collaboratively with the Design team, driving activities independently
- Implementing the delivery of new and unique products to the b.box range within given time frames.
- Actively contributing to meet the team and individuals KPIs set for the Design team.
- You will play a key role in Packaging Development
ABOUT YOU
You’re a team player – driven by team rather than ego. You have an ability to plan and execute tasks independently within a set time frame. You have an ability to visualise and communicate ideas. You have an ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
You are a strong creative problem solver. Oh, and ideally, you’ll have:
- Product Design Engineering or Industrial Design tertiary qualification
- Have 4+ years’ experience in an Industrial Designer role, or a role similar.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Proficient understanding in relevant software programs: Solid Works, Illustrator, Excel
- You have experience in a previous role, taking a product from concept to manufacturing
- Possess a professional and proactive work ethic
- Strong understanding of the design processes and design principles
