This role presents a comprehensive range of duties, including on-site assignments, remote support, and collaborative project work with fellow team members. These responsibilities include tasks such as new server installations, upgrades, and cloud migrations, ensuring a diverse role of responsibilities. In addition, there may be occasional after-hours work required from team members. Please be assured that you will be duly compensated for your commitment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting across a range of IT domains.
- On-site client support (work vehicle provided for on-site travel)
- Collaborate with fellow technicians to efficiently resolve escalated and advanced tickets, ensuring prompt solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Undertake project work, including the implementing of Microsoft 365 and Network Infrastructure upgrades.
- Ticket management and liaise with triage for effective timely resolutions.
- Contribute to enhancing our clients IT experience by providing excellent and timely customer service.
To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:
- A minimum of 3+ years' experience in Support & Project work for organisations comprising of 20+ users across all IT facets – servers, cloud, desktops, networking.
- Previous experience in an MSP environment would be an advantage.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Possess a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, encompassing switching, routing, VLAN, radius, VPN/SDWAN technologies and WLAN setup.
- An exceptional understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, with a strong focus on key components such as EntraID, Intune, Sharepoint and Exchange.
- Impeccable phone and email etiquette is paramount with an ability to respond promptly and professionally to clients.
- Skilled in report writing and maintaining thorough documentation.
- Hold a valid Driver’s license.
