About the role
You will report to a National Manager in this role and focus on managing existing client relationships.
Retention and account optimisation are critical drivers in this role, which would be well suited to a strong business developer looking to focus on nurturing relationships and developing existing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling organic new business acquisition, while at the same time horizon scan and identify new business opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and rollout of organisational sales initiatives in target markets.
- Tailor and drive individual customer engagement strategies by utilising internal data and research.
- Organise and conduct customer meetings, presentations, and pitch to a variety of stakeholders, both virtually and in-person.
- Write and interpret tenders, prepare sales contracts, and participate in the development of sales policies, recommending product line revisions as well as pricing changes.
- Manage account queries and complaints, maintaining a customer service mindset, escalating where necessary.
Essential Requirements
You will have listen-first and suggest-later approach when consulting with clients, and be passionate about the products and services on offer and the value they add to your clients.
- Proven success in a similar role, in B2B relationship management and customer advocacy, ideally in the provision of EAP, wellbeing, leadership, HR or organisational development services.
- A track record of successful business development and building and nurturing existing relationships.
- A growth mindset, taking accountability for outcomes and offering and testing solutions if KPIs are not being met.
- The ability to maintain a strong sense of customer service and integrity, in a results-driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
