About the role
Main tasks:
Take ownership of maintaining and expanding relationships with key customers, influencing decision-makers at all levels.
Other tasks:
Drive
business development by identifying new opportunities and developing project strategies
Collaborate
with internal teams to meet account performance objectives and exceed customer expectations
Lead
solution-based outcomes that address customer needs, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
Maintain
market intelligence, monitor competitor activity, and make recommendations for product and service improvements
Achieve
sales quotas, profitability targets, and customer objectives defined by company management
Contribute
to innovation and problem-solving within the business.

What you must have to apply for this role:
Experience in a sales role, preferably in steel fabrication or construction
Demonstrable success in providing superior customer service & executing strategy
Technical aptitude, business acumen, & strong negotiation skills
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
Previous experience with road authorities, councils, & construction infrastructure
Understanding of consultative & solution-based selling techniques
Safety leadership experience or exposure to safety management systems.
