Marian Centre Hospital is a specialist private mental health hospital in Wembley. We are currently offering a suitably trained individual an opportunity to join our team on a permanent part time basis.
Role statement
As part of the role, you will have a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the maintenance service activities being carried out in accordance with corporate policy guidelines and approved budgets, ensuring compliance with the prescribed standards and achievement of maintenance and project deadlines as delegated ty the Facility Manager.
You will manage and supervise the work conducted by contracted service providers to ensure it is completed correctly and on time. You will also undertake assigned maintenance activities and ensure that all forms of maintenance records for the hospital are fully maintained and remain current,
This position requires the following from you to be successful in this position:
Essential Criteria
- Five years’ experience in property and maintenance, preferably within a hospital.
- Trade experience, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Carpentry or similar
- Current drivers’ licence
- Understanding of the key Australian Standards, Work, Health and Safety legislation and how maintenance impacts on hospital performance
- Proficiency in computer and maintenance system skills
