Our client is a leader in their industry and are amid expansion in various VIC locations! 

They've got a new green site going up in Geelong, new equipment in procurement, and many exciting new projects in the pipeline. They've got a fantastic team and management who are genuinely supportive and eager to see their team members thrive both personally and professionally. They really value team development, and it shows - their recent mechanical engineer has moved up the ranks to become their Maintenance Manager. They are now expanding their team with an additional two roles for Mechanical Team Leader, to fill the morning, afternoon, or night shifts.

• Competitive Salary: A competitive salary is on offer of $90,000 - $156,000 + Super, depending upon the shift (morning, afternoon, or night shift).

THE ROLE

You'll be vital in assisting the Maintenance Manager to ensure all equipment operates at its best, boosting productivity. Just like the Maintenance Manager, the team consists of wonderful people who are skilled, dependable, and caring. Your duties will involve offering support across different parts of the business, fostering good relationships, and suggesting ways to improve maintenance processes.

Note: This role has availability to work in either the Morning, Afternoon or Evening shifts.

As the Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and motivating your team towards project success.
• Monitor equipment performance, fix breakdowns/issues and log details into Maintenance records.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to achieve common goals.
• Working closely with teams from different areas to make sure projects run smoothly.
• Sharing new ideas to make projects work better and be of higher quality.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful, you will need:

• Trade qualified with experience in steam and air services, and relevant licences.
• Sound Mechanical knowledge.
• A track record of successful leadership and previous experience in a similar role.
• A real team player with great communication and people skills.
• A commitment to safety, with a focus on creating a safe working environment.
• Great problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer proficiency, with ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Kean to develop professionally and engage in further training.
• Great organisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively.
• A positive, professional, and friendly manner at all times.
