Form of workPart-time Medical Receptionist required for Specialist Gastroenterology practice in Waurn Ponds.
We are looking for an experienced Specialist Medical Receptionist for 16-24 hours (2-3 days) per week. This position will be for an initial trial period of 3 months with a view to it becoming permanent.
Based at the Epworth Private Hospital, this role encompasses:
- Acting as the first point of contact for patients, greeting them on arrival and accurately processing paperwork and updating patient details.
- Managing telephone enquiries.
- Booking appointments
- Billing and receipting patient accounts
- Document scanning
- Audio typing
- Organising theatre lists
You will need:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure.
- The ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise tasks.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- A calm and friendly manner.
- The ability to problem-solve.
- Knowledge of Mediflex would be an advantage.
